Overview

HugoQi operates hugoqi.com (currently a public launch splash linking to @hugoqi369). Third-party platforms (e.g. Instagram) have their own policies when you use them directly.

We do not sell personal information. Contact form and newsletter signup are described below but are not yet available on the splash page.

What we collect

On the current site we may process:

• Cookie notice preference — stored in your browser (e.g. localStorage) if you dismiss the banner; not used for ads.
• Technical logs — IP address, user agent, timestamps, and similar data our host (Cloudflare) processes to deliver pages and mitigate abuse.
• Analytics (if enabled) — aggregate, privacy-oriented traffic metrics; not sold.

No account, contact form, or newsletter signup is required on the splash page today.

How we use it

We use information to operate and secure the Website, remember cookie preferences, understand aggregate usage, and comply with law. When contact or newsletter features launch, we will also use data to respond and send mail you requested.

If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on legitimate interests (operation, security, analytics), consent where required (e.g. marketing email), and legal obligation when applicable. You may object to certain processing—see Your rights.

Cookies & hosting

We use essential browser storage for the cookie banner. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the current splash. Clear site data in your browser to reset preferences.

The Website is hosted on Cloudflare. We may add processors (e.g. email delivery) when new features launch; this Policy will be updated.

Contact (planned)

Not yet live.

When enabled, we expect: name, email, message content, and technical/bot-protection data to deliver the form. We use this to respond; messages may route to admin@hugoqi.com rather than remain on the server long term.

Newsletter (planned)

Not yet live.

When enabled, we expect: email (required), optional name, and subscription metadata. We send updates you requested; every email includes unsubscribe. You may also email admin@hugoqi.com to opt out. A delivery provider may send mail on our behalf.

Retention & sharing

We retain data only as needed for the purposes above or as law requires. We may disclose information to service providers under contract, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer with notice where required.

Your rights

Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information. California residents may have rights under CCPA/CPRA. Email admin@hugoqi.com with enough detail to verify your request. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

Children & international

The Website is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). If you believe a child provided data, contact us for deletion.

Visitors outside the United States may have data processed in the U.S. and other provider locations with different privacy laws.

We use reasonable safeguards; no system is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this Policy; the effective date will change. Material updates may be noted on the Website. When contact or newsletter go live, we will reflect actual vendors and retention here.
